It seems like they release the new rounds first and then shortly after that new design comes out they release the proof versions. Any idea on how long it takes to get the proof versions released once they start a new design? For instance when will design #8 be released and then when will design #8 proofs be released? I would think the regular and the proofs would be released at the same time, but they don't seem to be so far. (The current design for #7 was released January 1st and ends April 1st but the proof is still "coming soon".)

It seems to me that it used to be the Proofs are about a Month and a Half behind the BU. That appears to be different, with the delay on the Proof Feast Dollar.

So, Design #8 will go on sale April 1st, and the Starving Liberty Proof will be available really soon before or after, since it is already on the website.

Yeah that finale set will be pretty pricey. At first I thought that I should have just waited until it was done to get that limited set with all of them at once, but I don't think I can justify the cost. I'll just stick with my copper rounds and proofs and be happy!

So far I've got the the Silver and Copper, BU and Proofs. I have them in air-tite albums with a first year issue of the coin the design was based off of. They look really nice! https://goccf.com/t/182904

That ia a very cool way to display them. I like how you added the original coin they were based on. I have seen some of the copper bullion coins that show the "pre-zombie" likeness too. I might pick those up since they are copper and fairly cheap and would show a nice before and after in the same size copper. I strongly thought about getting the silver ones, but like I said before I can't justify the extra cost. Plus the money that I could spend on those silver Zombucks would be taking away from some of the US coins I really want for my other collections. I figured the copper rounds and copper proofs would be a great way to get the set without breaking the bank.

I wouldn't mind doing up a nice album with these zombucks, but I like the boxes that the proofs come in so I might just keep them in the original box and let them be. I might put the copper rounds in airtites and then maybe do something with those and the "before and after" copper rounds along with the original cons they were modeled after or something.

I didn't make the connection you were the one who provided the idea to have the Zombucks next to the original coin. I ended up buying the expensive official zombucks box and think it looks pretty good. With the extra coins, I needed two boxes.

Your images with the book are great, and an efficient use of space. I have a similar book for one ounce bars because of your original photos.

I also might pick up a set of regular copper rounds that show the original or "pre-zombie" versions.

@Spaceace: I thought I saw where you asked about the 39mm airtites with the foam rings inside to fit smaller coins, but I can't seem to find where it was.

Anyways, I got them from a company called http://www.air-tites.com.

Yeah I edited that post. Thanks for the link. Are you able to get a 39mm capsule with a ring that fits a dime or a nickel? Do I just get a foam ring that is close and make it fit since the foam can be smooshed a bit if needed?

Also I need to see what the last few designs are going to be so I know if I have to end up spending a boat-load on a coin if they use something that is modelled after a more rare or expensive design. If they do that then I may not make a set with the original coins in it.

It would be cool to see a Zombucks with a zombified eagle. There are numerous eagles to choose from, but I think that would be really cool to see.

They make all sorts of inserts to fit nearly any coin. They have a sizing chart on their website. Yes, you do get the 39mm capsule plus the foam insert.

I would love for them to do the Flying Eagle cent!

My guess is a Capped Bust. "Capped" in the sense of being shot up obviously.
