Weird wear pattern? Face is completely flat but LIBERTY is complete? And Struck Through Grease at PLURIBUS?

Probably a die issue, SSK. They ran them as long as they could. The weakness in E PLURIBUS is a common metal flow issue with bust halves. So much metal had to flow to the bust area on the obverse that it quite often left the area in the motto lacking on the reverse.
Thx, Moe. It was liberated from an NGC holder. Much more enjoyable raw than in the slab and no big loss of premium by liberating it.

I wish I had a super decent capped bust half. Just one for a type piece. It has to be a teen year though or earlier. That would make me happy.
