THESSALONICA mint in greece

That probably is it, and if not then the mark is probably too damaged to be able to figure it out.

All the other coins seem to be from the Balkans, and it seems reasonable that a coin from Thessalonica could have made it up to that area.

There is a very interesting book about ancient roman coins for begginers.
It´s quite Cheap and has been writed by an argentinian scholar Damian R. Salgado. The title is "Monedas Romanas. el bajo imperio (294-498 d.j.c.)".
My son says that this book "...is a massive attribution weapon".
I know that is in spanish (and english), but is the best to attribute a coin.
It has been printed by "letra viva editorial. division numismática"

Sounds like it might be interesting to look at whenever I decide to get some more uncleaned coins if I can find the english version. As it is I think I'm about out of unattributed coins that have any hope of being attributed.

You can find there the link to the page "Tesorillo" with a very useful tool to identify reverse types and coins of several emperors...
...and my friend MAPILA made an "english version" too.
Easy and quick.
