Quote: However, I have already reserved a few sets through my rep.
Reps are already taking orders? If that is the case everyone should be contacting them as soon as possible. How much are the sets and do they include the gold coin? If the sets costs more than $1000 I would have second thoughts.

3000 individual gold coins or 3000 sets like the moon mask set?

From what I gathered in a call to RCM after seeing this thread 3000 Gold. If there is a set maybe the other poster can tell more . I could not get any more info from RCM.

I'm truly disappointed with how the RCM is acting. I guess at the end of the day, they don't care about how well the coins do long term but rather current sales. I'm sure "flippers" will order and sell them ahead of time and return any that don't sell within 30 days. Increasing the mintage could backfire. Time will tell. I'll admit, I enjoyed the 2014 gold Superman in design over the 2013 version. The 2015 gold version could be a hit.

There is one gold coin and 3 silver coins. There is no special box.
So it is not exactly a set like the masks.

Most businesses work this way. People buying these coins should have no delusions about long term value/gain. Like I said before , its out of control now, too many mints around the world competing for the collector coin market and it wont get any better, its going to get worst. Look on the bright side , its great for people who like to buy coins at a discount later on.

There might be no discount as dealers/flippers will NOT buy these coins in large volumes. As result, the majority of the coins will stay with RCM. Look at the Murano Turtle.

Lots of buzz for a July release in early April...well its "Superman"...of course. ...already approaching pg 3 of thread... Some of the best Superman comic covers have already been produced on RCM coins... What could we expect for 2015...? There is one cover design that would look great on a 1 oz coin... IMO - its Superman #252 (1972) - a spectacular soaring superhero Not too many other great designs remaining...beyond #252 (1972).

I have already reserved a couple of Gold Looney Tunes with my rep.
he said the mintage is 2,000 and will sell out before release based on responses to his calls.
