It just so happens that my local coin dealer growing up was an EAC affiliated dealer and got myself and many other local collectors into collecting copper. There are some 8 EAC members in our little local coin club of about 25 people.

Old copper can be addicting. I ended up settling for a date set. Varieties can very easily get expensive.

That's what I thought as well so I decided to just do a date set of the draped busts (my favorite). Today I have 185 of the 187 Sheldon numbered draped bust varieties and 255 of the 295 total Sheldon numbered early date varieties. They are expensive, but they are addictive as well.

I'm going as well. I checked out the auction catalog, that holed cent collection is pretty amazing. If the prices aren't too crazy, I'll probably bid on a few things. Hope to see some coincommunity members there.
