Well, there were the 3 King George 5th quarters, one dated 1919 (so its 92.5% silver) the other 2 I cannot see the dates, one is somewhat readable and its 192X

But I think for rarity, the 1948 is probably more rare, and in better condition.

The fact that your able to do things like this with how bank tellers are from my perspective is a miracle. If I ever wanted to "explain" these things to them and to watch out for them I would need to do it sitting down in the back office.

Anyway arnt 1948 silver quarters not rare?

because of India's independence, we needed to redo the dies, that is why there is the 1947ML (these were actually minted in 48) so the dies were not ready till middle of year 1948, the mintage is only 2 564 424 (for the quarters) the Silver dollars and 50 cents pieces are extremely rare)
