I think that this piece is interesting but not as a coin for my collection. Sorry I draw the line at 'coins' that bear no resemblance to coins.

Kids, can you say "Christmas ornament"?

Looks like it belongs hanging on a pine tree somewhere in northern Canada.

As of 6:30pm Atlantic time, only 895 left on mint.ca
I wonder if there'll be any left when MC sales are over, or if the mint will suddenly have thousands more will suddenly appear for sale?

With the Mint, whatever you sampling in the given moment, this is current stock inventory.
Of cause they can add more.

Could be these really returns, as members on other forum say? This is really the indicator that coin not so popular.

The most "mysterious" stock inventory and delay was with the BoC coins. When the coins have been quickly sold out, they (limited amount, but still) were available if you'll call the Mint and insist on coin purchase...

Would be interesting to see this coin slabbed. Not sure if there will be a right fit for this coin in a PCGS holder.

I dont think these will increase in value much long term, maybe a few selling now for $175 to $200 but with 15000 mintage the price will drop too around issue or a bit more maybe at some point.

Ya its all early hype sales atm, the mintage is too high to sustain much higher prices long term.
