Sadly nothing to report on today. A few coins lots were around but just nothing of interest today.

Today I didn't bother going. It was raining slighly but in addition there was another chrismas market on my way home that is usually very busy. I didn't want to be disappointed at the Sunday market only to get stuck in the massive traffic queues afterwards, so decided not to go today. Hopefully next week should do.

Well, despite the very sudden downpour of snow, today went down pretty nicely. Unfortunately I still have computer/memory card issues, so I will post pictures when I can.

I will assume the Holidays are to blame for no recent visit to the market.

Holidays are certainly no necessary break, but unfortunately there was nothing to find then. HOWEVER, I have finally managed to transfer images from two weeks ago, so here's that: Some UK coins, with a silver 1945 sixpence and 1877 Penny. A bunch of French coins , with a silver 1960 5 Francs A few German coins, 4.44 DM and a 1940-A Reichpfennig A mix of some Danish coins, with a bunch of ugly zinc coins. Oldest here is 1924 10 Øre. Some Norwegian ones, oldest here a 1924 10 Øre (again) A bunch of common Swedish pieces, except the first two which are much more interesting. The first is an 1855 1/6 Skilling Banco in pretty good condition, the second an 1858 1 Öre. 2 Groschen, Austria 1950 5 Groschen, Austria 1948 10 Groschen, Austria 1953 10 Schilling, Austria 1974 5 Rappen, Switzerland 1914 ½ Frank, Switzerland 1951 10 Cents, Netherlands 1948 25 Cents, Netherlands 1950 & 1976 5 Agorot, Israel (x2) 1 Lira, Israel 1 Kopeyka, USSR 1968 3 Kopeyki, USSR 1968 5 Kopeyek, USSR 1961 15 Kopeyek, Russia 1915 1 Króna, Iceland 1963 10 Lire, Italy 1951 1 Drachmi, Greece 1954 & 1962 (x2) 2 Drachmai, Greece 1959 10 Penniä, Finland 1973 1 Franc, Belgium 1943 All this for a measy 40 kr.

And here's for today: I arrived a bit earlier and one of my favourite sellers had finally brought coins back after a long while of selling watches and stamps instead. I saw what was in there and bought everything quickly. £16.09 in legal tender UK coins Another £16 in old £1 coins USD $0.80 JPY ¥481 5 Forint, Hungary 1994 (x2) 10 Cents, Canada 2008 1 Dollar, Canada 1994 25 Kurush, Turkey 2014 1 Lira, Turkey 2015 2 Lari, Georgia 2006 100 Millièmes, Tunisia 1997 (x2) ½ Dinar, Tunisia 1988 25 Falus, UAE 2007 1 Dirham, UAE 1995, 2005 & 2007 1 Euro Cent, Spain 1999 & 2005 5 Euro Cents, Spain 2005 20 Rappen, Switzerland 2009 10 Kroner, Norway 1996 20 Kroner, Norway 1994 10 Kroner, Denmark 1990 20 Kroner, Denmark 2017 50 Öre, Sweden 1962, 1980, 1992, 1999, 2000 (x2), 2003 & 2006 1 Krona, Sweden 2002 & 2007 (x2) All this for 100 kr. Pretty happy about that Unfortunately the images got quite dark this week. The issue is that it gets dark so quickly at this time of year here that you have to take photos as soon as you come home, otherwise everything gets darker and whatnot.

What a score! You had a great day at the sale. I'm envious of the Great Britain 20 & 50 pence coins with the coat of arms sections on them.I'm missing those and the Pound coin to have the complete set. Always a pleasure to see what you find over there.
