Thanks BH! In another thread I created I am updating with pictures of cool finds as I dig through these jars. That sucks about the metal finder Gary, not a big fan of thieves.

I paid $250 then, a lot of $ in that era (1950`s)the one with beeper but it worked. I would like one of the modern versions that show a pic of item. I found lots of pop tops etc. but you had to dig to see what was buried. Found a lot of coins. Not as many as your Dad.

Very fun hobby then and now. And easier to. But much more money.

Yeah I remember him complaining about pop tabs a lot.
