Sure the Superman and Walt Disney characters belong more to the US than Canada but what I'm thinking about is the never ending rash of 1oz and less silver coins that are purely Canadian content themes. However it wouldn't surprise me if Americans are buyers of RCMs higher end coins, gold, platinum, etc. But I've been wrong before.
Sorry, I don't do Home Shopping shows. I dislike hard sales tactics let alone someone bellowing at me to buy something from my TV....

I watch to see the coins under great lighting. Plus its great entertainment, usually good for some laughs. I never take them too serious. Steven has a much softer approach, compared to Mike his counterpart in the US. I have noticed the states show concentrates on graded coins for the most part.

@John I watch online, as I don't have cable TV. Both shows in Canada and US have an option to watch it live. Also some coins have the promo video attached to the offering. Its educational to see what is being done in this sales venue. Yes CCF collectors as smart enough to know the value of a coin, however, its important to see how marketing is changing. I watch also for entertainment and to see coins live. They are nicely presented.

Not sure if this is appropriate to reply here but if anyone is looking at selling/not using their collector case, please message me as I'm interested in getting one. Saw someone picking theirs up directly from the mint the other day and they are very nice quality!

If you wait until next week, you can buy it from the Mint for $129.99. Same case, different logo.

@ MoneyPenny: Thanks! I even asked the rep at the boutique about the cases and she said the only cases they had were exclusively for MC level patrons. I'm guessing the people they deal with are fairly frequent buyers as they knew them by first name compared to the general public. I'd love to be able to get to that point of disposable income, but I also like to get good value for my money so MC is a pipe dream at this point.

@AgentArgent. Just keep in mind that the box is the same, but the logo is different. If you care, of course.

Like a coin, it would be nice to know how many MC cases were given out.

Will the current RCM case be available to the general public, or is it just for MC.

@AgentArgent. I tried sending you a PM but I don't think it will allow me to do so until you have 50 posts. I'm in Winnipeg as well and have an ad on Kijiji for the MC logo case if you are interested you could take a look for the ad and reply through there.

@ Solar penny: Done. Thanks for notifying me. @ mts. How/where did you find this information. A quick scour of the mint site didn't give me any clues as to the sale of these cases (J.Q. Public version).

It's available for MC now. It always becomes public next Tuesday after offering to MC.
