Ran behind schedule and missed most of the first presentation.
Attendance seemed a little light but decent non the less.

Picked up a 2014 commemorative polymer banknote from Trinadad & Tobago that I had been looking well over a year for and one of the new British 5 pound polymer notes.

Most of CCF members have seen them both, so nothing real special.

ANE was giving away free books and I picked up a Charlton 60th ed.

I bought a ziplock of nickel dollars. I got a job as a volunteer piano teacher for kids and I'm thinking of giving these to them as a reward for them if they do well.

i had a great time and got some beautiful coins, most of which filled some holes in my sets which made me really happy since I usually just go after what I like instead of what I need. here are 3 pieces that I got today, also got a 1967 SP-67 Heavy cameo quarter for my '67 set and a PCGS PL-67 1965 type 4 dollar with a heavy cameo.

Nice scores dollarman. Love the lowballs lol. I was there today myself walking around with my wife and son. Unfortunately I didn't find any coins to pickup. The few toned coins I was interested in from one dealer were just crazy overpriced like a MS62 38 dollar for $450.

Wasn't a complete loss though, found a nice dealer that had some premium gold bullion that he let go for a touch over spot.

@thrustie thank you very much:)

and oh I knowww! I liked his '38 too but it was too baggy for me. I was dying to get that '37 MS-64..what a beautiful coin. I tapped out at $370 for it but I don't think he'd budge from $450..he claimed to have paid $400 anyways so I figured I may as well walk away from that coin..i understand that premium toned dollars especially from that era are tough but I can't justify paying that much although I probably would've if I had deeper pockets. however I did get a truly unbelievable 1967 from another dealer which I hope to post if I can capture the colours.

No probs man. I'm a huge fan of lowballs lol.

That's funny you know the 38 I was referring to. The 37 was nice as well, but prices were just too much. I actually saw two 38 MS65 dollars that made me feel pretty darn good about my 38 dollar getting a 65 :)
