Doing this really helped me - the Cobra Pose. It's yoga, but also a main part of the McKenzie Method to treat sciatica. And don't put a heating pad on your back. And don't slouch. Those things make it worse. Thanks for that Jay, I'll remember about the slouching (which my back is already teling me not to do it. and no heat, huh? I'm currently in a VA pain study for back pain - it is a 3 part study - 1- Mental state, 2-Cognitive, and 3-Yoga - each part is 12 weeks long (all assigned randomly, but this is the order I'm getting it in. (I wish they did the yoga part first!) So in a few weeks I'll be doing that yoga stuff.
