@chafemasterj Is that a clad or 40% proof? Of my handful of Ikes, this clad proof gets me the most points:   In Memory of Crazyb0 12-26-1951 to 7-27-2020

I don't think I have a proof Ike, a S mint Ike, or a TPG graded Ike, and to the best of my memory I don't have an 1973 Ike either (isn't it a less common date?), so the best I have is this little (OK, not very little) piece...   Part of the unpopular Presidential $1 series, this coin features the 19th US president, Rutherford Birchard Hayes. (And no, I didn't just look up his middle name.) To be honest, Hayes is probably no one's favorite president (to the extent that he is known at all, which isn't much), but I do kind of like the way he got elected. As far as I can tell, this coin gets 4 points, for a TPG graded proof S mint dollar (I don't think its composition counts as clad). Sadly, it is not the 2015 Eisenhower type (which would have given it another point). |

@jbuck I saw you gave j1m 5 points and I assume that's because the Pres. Dollars are, indeed, clad. I didn't know that until just recently.
