I'm trying to come up with a more traditional "match the coin" challenge. I do have a backup theme-based challenge that is pretty specific and shouldn't be overwhelming to the thread page count. I can post it by this evening if I can't find anything more traditional.

One of my collections is small silver coins, several of which are five cent pieces. This round post your 1/20 coins from all countries. Rules: - Coins must be equivalent to 1/20 unit (1/20 dollar, peso, etc.) - The coin was intended for circulation - Must be silver (minimum .500) - 1 point per country- There is no size requirement Player with the most points by Sunday night wins. In the case of a tie, the player representing the most continents wins. Edit:typo

If I have anything that qualifies, it's a Newfoundland 5 cents, but I'm not sure. I had a few of those Hong Kong pieces, but sold them. If I don't have the NF 5 cents, then I need to get it because I thought I had every type but the $2 gold!

Okay, I guess we need a couple of clarifications. The coins which qualify must be 1/20 of the main currency unit of the country. Arkie, although I appreciate the creativity, you need 1/20 of a pound. As for what is a country I will use numista.com. If the country/issuer is listed there, its fair game. Newfoundland is listed, so you could potentially play a Newfoundland 5 cent and Canadian 5 cent. One could also post a coin from England and one from the UK for example.
Note that your coins should also be intended for circulation. I have edited the challenge post to reflect this. Fortunately, it doesn't affect any entries so far.
