Spruett, did you count the II after Elizabeth, they are ones too. That would make it 124 points.

If you accept II as 1 and 1 (4 points) and not 2 (3 points), how would you score the MDCCLIII (1753) on my Ike? The M would 1001 points alone.  It is why I would think Roman numerals would be excluded.

I thought about the Roman numerals, but figured they were excluded for reasons such as what jbuck mentioned.
