Just lucky, jbuck. It happened to be in a load of old coppers that I picked up a few weeks ago. I've wanted examples of these Nova Scotia tokens, but would not have bought that one by itself due to condition.

Woo hoo! I'm the wiener! I'll contemplate the next round as I watch the rest of the LSU-Tulane game.

Quote: I'll contemplate the next round as I watch the rest of the LSU-Tulane game. My Tigers did their job... Clemson (43-17) 12, Lipscomb (36-24) 5 I expect the Bayou Bengals will do the same... LSU (43-15) vs. Tulane (19-40)

Post a trade token from a location near your actual birth place. Shortest distance wins. This will require honesty, but I trust all of you. Actual birth spot in New Iberia, LA to McIlhenny plant on Avery Island, LA = 10 miles / 16 km.

I don't collect trade tokens (or, rather, I guess I collect trade tokens the way I collect 15th century dated coins - I'd love to get some if they come cheap but they don't), I don't really have any pics of the few trade tokens I did manage to get (a few Conders maybe I think...), and I don't recall offhand which particular part of Moscow I was born in so it wouldn't have helped anyway.
So, um, go fish? I can post a token from Wales but I don't even recall if it's a trade token or just a currency token. In any case Wales is nowhere near Moscow.

Perhaps this one is too tough. How about if we expand the conditions to include the distance from where you were born and any coin minted? For example, distance from New Iberia to the mint in New Orleans = 134 miles / 216 km.

Times like these I wish I collected trade tokens or that there was a branch mint in Chicago. For participation... Hammond, IN to Philly is ~738 miles via the Interstate or ~655 miles as the crow flies. 1835 Capped Bust quarter Dollar
