Yeah, the contest probably has to be a bit more generic than counting displayed objects on a coin.

New contest, for which everyone should have an entry! Post a coin with a representation of Liberty.  Points: A. Country of origin: 5 French Indo-China; 4 (France); 3 (Other) B. Depiction of Liberty: 5 (Seated); 4 (Standing); 3 (Bust or other) C. Date: 4 (1800s); 3 (1700s); 2 (1900s); 1 (Other) D. Diameter: 4 (38.5 mm or greater); 3 (38.0 - 38.49); 2 (30 - 37.99 mm); 1 (< 30) E. Monetary Unit: 5 (Piastres); 4 (Centimes); 3 (Dollar); 2 (Cents); 1 (Other) F. Material: 4 (Silver); 3 (Gold); 2 (Brass or copper as a major ingredient); 1 (Other) G. Miscellaneous: 1 each (can count twice for both sides): Plant materials, Fasces, Anchor, Crown, Ribbon Note: much to my chagrin, I have determined that my coin is a fake. Post a Country Trio.  All three coins must be different denominations from the same country.    Points: Add the dates (last two digits only) with the values as stated. That is, no claiming 100 cents for a 1 dollar coin. Example: 11 + 8 + 5 + 100 + 10 + 5 = 139 Good luck! |

Did I already tell you I recently went to a coin show and bought these Turkish coins for my Word Coins Birthyear Set?    Points: 25 + 50 + 50,000 + 73 + 73 + 91 = 50,312 |
