Quote: jbuck, for the couple of years I've photographed most of the coins I've bought. But that leaves quite a backlog from the last 50 years that are done on an "as needed" basis. I can relate. I have kept up with snapping most new adds for the past several years, but I have been accumulating coins since 1978.

I've only really been collecting since I joined this forum back in 2006. I started taking pictures and adding them to the forum gallery as a record of what I had. As there is only limited space available I only took a picture of one side. I maxed out the space available and Bobby was kind enough to give me more, but then I maxed it out again, hence no coins have been added for a few years. I added some search words as I added the coins, so I can go into my gallery and search for certain items. That along with my spreadsheet makes it easy to find coins I need. I have since added them all to Numista as well and that helps a lot too. Looks like it's the forums 20th birthday next month. Susan and Bobby were the first members in Feb 2005.

Is everyone still fishing? We're at the "any 1 cent" threshold.

Let's stay with 1 cent: US 1 Cent 1955-S. If no match in 6 hours, then any US copper cent (zincolns need not apply - proof 2009 US 1 cents are acceptable). After 12 hours, any 1 cent from anywhere (except zincolns - throw them in the trash).
