Will keep you posted. Cheers

Yes, please. It was not my intent in my post to be in the least disparaging, and I certainly hope it wasn't taken that way. For me, there is a difference, but the bottom line is here's a vanishingly-rare coin which (by one method or another) issued from a recognized Mint. It is, at worst, no less "numismatic" than contemporary counterfeits which have developed a collector following of their own, and I recognize the numismatic relevance of both categories.

No offence taken SsuperDdave. I am confident that is is a genuine coin produced at RCM.

Same as the 1969 large date dime. First known example shown to coin dealer Peter Degraaf in 1970. The 1953-1968 reverse master die was repunched to 1969 and used in error. The normal 1969 had remodelled schooner, date, etc. He contacted the RCM to no avail. The 1993 mule has the 1992 Obverse.
Then in 1977 coin dealer Jeremy Day made the first purchase of the large date. He contacted RCM and got the same - nothing.
In 1978 the large date was first listed in Charlton Catalogue.

The two known 1993 with obverse 1867-1992 will be listed in Charlton Catalogue in 2019 (2018 already in print), and Coins of Canada in 2018.

PS: Thanks to all. I sure am learning a lot about coins :)
