I am very pleased with my Gulden Type Set so far. Not in the least because you can get high grade coins for not much money.
In contrast, if you had to buy a 18th Century Draped Bust Half Dollar in say AU-55 condition (same size and silver content as the Gulden shown above) you would need to have taken out a second mortgage on your home!

Here's a $10 proof commemorative gold coin from Canada that was issued in 2012 to help mark the bicentennial of the War of 1812; it has a troy weight of 1/4 ounce of 0.9999 fine gold. The coin was one of many that the Royal Canadian Mint ( RCM) issued during 2012 and 2013 to mark the War's bicentennial. (I've posted a few over in the military theme thread).

On its reverse, the coin features a mix of fauna and flora, namely, allegorical representations of the war's participants - Canada (Maple Leaf), Britain (Lion) and the US (Eagle). The design was also issued as a bullion coin in gold, platinum and silver that was sold exclusively (at least originally) by Goldline, Inc.
