I found a locked topic on these tokens from 2009, so I'll post this New Mexico 1935 1 Mill - Emergency School Tax token again. Interesting part of American history. Here's the link to the closed topic: http://goccf.com/t/41040

This beauty arrived today! From one of the great sellers at @ma-shops. Needs an acetone rinse. My only issue is how to store it. It's massive - 230g, 65mm diameter, and 7mm thick. I'll tell more about the history of this piece and the Worlds Industrial and Cotton Centennial Exposition held in New Orleans 1884-1885 in a later post.

This a cool cigarette token from the States from back in the 30's. You put a penny into a 'Stimulator' (slot machine) and if you lined up 3 of a kind, it would pay out in tokens for packs of cigarettes. There's an old thread here: http://goccf.com/t/261540

1975 Maui Hawaii Dollar From Wiki: "An earlier series of Maui dollars was issued in the 1970s by the Maui Chamber of Commerce in a similar size, although thinner and made of brass. On one such undated coin the words "LAHAINA FIRST CAPITAL" are written along the bottom and "MAUI DOLLAR" along the top, with the Kingdom of Hawaii coat of arms in the center flanked by two sailing ships. The reverse side features a picture of the "IAO NEEDLE" in the center with the Hawaiian phrase, "MAUI NO KA OI" above and the words, "THE VALLEY ISLE" below." http://goccf.com/t/131203&SearchTerms=Maui,dollar

Another Hawaiin Trade Token, a 1973 HILO Dollar. Supposedly, there were only 1999 minted with serial numbers, this one being H913.
