Ireland to Spain ... ...I was able to identify the original coin as to mint & date by comparing details to a whole coin (of this date & mint) ... ...I included a chart to show some, but not all, of the (sometimes minuscule) differences in detail design of different elements of these coins ... matching the designs help narrow & sometimes pinpoint a date & location (mint) ... look at the chart & notice the differences...3 coins, 3 different dates, 2 different mints... ...thanks, Hondo ... I have a few like this plus some older cobs that were found by a metal detector guy in the area of Cole's Point (James River, Chesapeake Bay area) ... these are the closest coins to being called "pirate's coins", as pirates would set up inland on the river & sell & trade their ill-gotten gains to locals ... 1725 was toward the end of the "Golden Age of Piracy" ... & it's possible that these coins were cut for correct change & used between the locals & pirates in exchange ... ...the pirates actually set cannon on the bank shallows to fend off the Governor's naval militia, & protect their "flea market" ventures ... an interesting part of our early colonial history ... ..."
