Hondo - I was wondering where there was a land border between France and the Netherlands, and then remembered that I've actually been across it - on the Caribbean island of St Maarten!  Netherlands to Germany (1 Mark 1991-F):

NumisRob, it's a straight shot from Calais or Dunkirk through the North Sea to the Netherlands. And speaking of overseas territories, French Guiana is a Department of France (although I've never used that technicality here). Slovakia to Hungary - 50 Forint 1972

Sorry, HB, wasn't thinking of a sea connection but had been wondering if there was a land border at some stage before Belgium existed, as you'd posted an 18th-century coin! Hungary to Croatia (5 Kuna 2008):

NumisRob, you sent me down a rabbit hole looking at maps of that area from 1300 on! The answer, as far as I can tell is no, unless you count the Duchy of Burgundy which encompassed NE France, Belgium, and the Holland area in the later 14th into the 15th century. Croatia to Italy, 50 Centesimi 1863
