Thanks Hondo! I went into a bank in Asuncion in November 1990 and asked if they had any 1 Guarani coins. The only way I could get them was to buy a mint sealed bag of 100 for face value, which was the equivalent of about 10 US cents for the lot! I only have a few left now! Your Peso Boliviano is stunning!  I have one in about VF... Bolivia to Peru (1 New Sol 1994):  Edited by NumisRob

I've been throughout Central America and Jamaica, but getting coins was a low priority at the time. I never thought of going to a bank!!! That peso came in a lot of 60 large uncirculated world coins that I picked up for $60. Most of them are still in a binder awaiting listing - just need to re-do the photos.
