More lustre than brown, I'm afraid. This is a one-penny token from 1811 issued for the City of Bristol in Britain, featuring the city council's fabulous coat of arms, which was licensed by the Crown's College of Arms in 1659.Withers 416, Davis 76, 34mm, 18.7g, "Very Common."
