Iceland 10 Aurar 1981 with Griðungur the bull, one of the four traditional protector spirits ("Landvættir") of Iceland, on the obverse and a European flying squid ( Todarodes sagittatus) on the reverse. Yes, they do "fly" by leaping from the water.   Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
