Quote: Not so good right now. I'm having cataract surgery Thursday. It will be okay My mom had it in 2020. The second eye was a week before the COVID lock-down started.

Quote: Thursday will be the first eye but no date yet on the second. If I recall correctly, my mom got the second date after the first follow-up after the first procedure. Like... first eye, follow-up in two weeks, second eye two more weeks. Like, a month between maybe. Quote: It will be fine. Both of my sisters have had it so now it's my turn.

Quote: I'm having cataract surgery Thursday. Don't worry about it, GLB - you'll have no problems, and you'll be amazed at how much better your vision is (or how badly it had deteriorated). I had my eyes done about a month before the COVID lockdown and it was a breeze. The worst part about it was one of the eye drops they put in during the procedure burned a little bit for a few seconds - that's it. Recovery was a snap. I had to wait 2 weeks for the second eye and was a bit impatient because after the vast improvement in the first eye I wanted it done now!

Thank you, Hondo. They are putting in prescription lenses so I expect to see much better when both eyes are done.

I wore glasses my entire life until my cataract surgery - not anymore, except for cheaters. I would have had to spring for $5K to get the prescription ones and figured I could find much better uses for that money.
