Don't worry about it, GLB - you'll have no problems, and you'll be amazed at how much better your vision is (or how badly it had deteriorated). I had my eyes done about a month before the COVID lockdown and it was a breeze. The worst part about it was one of the eye drops they put in during the procedure burned a little bit for a few seconds - that's it. Recovery was a snap. I had to wait 2 weeks for the second eye and was a bit impatient because after the vast improvement in the first eye I wanted it done now! I would have had to spring for $5K to get the prescription ones and figured I could find much better uses for that money. I'm having the surgery at the VA Medical Center so I'm not sure what my copay will be.
