There were definitely cameo back then. Just very few. I bought 2 unopened boxes 1953 and 1954. No full cameos noted. All coins are untoned and had rusty staples. Unfortunately the 1953 Half had broken through its cellophane and there were some hairlines caused by the box rubbing. This is NOT my cameo cent but just an example of something I'd love to have :)
