Who would be so mad that they would try to put a stake through the heart of such a nice coin! Blasphemy! ryurazu Pillar of the Community Australia 1333 Posts	Posted 04/22/2018 6:46 pm First thing first try yo not touch the proof coins if you are going to handle them do so with care and only on there rims, cause it will affect their value when it comes to selling, I can see just from a few pictures that the collection is we worth in excess of a couple of grand. With bullion (gold and platinum proof sets) it was valued in the 20k plus area in 1998 or 1999 when om and dad had someone come look at it. Report this Post to the Staff

Most dealers will only offer you face value for nickel dollars (sometimes even less)... you should at least get a slight premium for those...
