Thanks J!!

Really getting into coins LOL. I was going through the large Cent book yesterday and I came across this poor thing . Who would be so mad that they would try to put a stake through the heart of such a nice coin! Blasphemy! I found it strange that to be hit that hard, no signs on the face side and no deflection on the coin. Wish it could tell me it's 100 plus year history

First thing first try yo not touch the proof coins if you are going to handle them do so with care and only on there rims, cause it will affect their value when it comes to selling, I can see just from a few pictures that the collection is we worth in excess of a couple of grand. Also dont take them out of coin rolls cause some people collect like that.

Thanks ryurazu I will try to keep it in mind. Yes it is extensive and this is just the surface. With bullion (gold and platinum proof sets) it was valued in the 20k plus area in 1998 or 1999 when om and dad had someone come look at it.

Wow....I love the nickel dollar rolls. They were probably rolled at a bank in the 1970s and never touched since...

Most dealers will only offer you face value for nickel dollars (sometimes even less)... you should at least get a slight premium for those...

41.76 grams / 31.1 grams /Troy oz x 90% = 1.2085 oz.
Gold price $1,323.69 US / oz x 1.2085 = $1,599.93
That is the bullion value in USD for that coin.

I see them in graded slabs for sale on ebay for
$2,100 for PF69.
