I thin k error replacements are kind of cool (as the replacements were intended to replace said errors):

Nice notes everyone! What is the value of out of register notes? coinsandcanada pricing isn't very clear about this. I'm not an error collector but I have a VF Devil's face $1 with offset and note above appearing very similar to the $2 above posted by walk2dwater. Is it worth more than $15?

I don't remember where I put it. I was looking at Charlton's this morning where it gives a value of $150. If it's only worth $15 like coinsandcanada says and I believed, it's not worth my while to spend time looking for it .However if it's closer to the Charlton's value, then.....

Quote: I don't remember where I put it. -Hope you can locate it "DBM" As "Friedsquid" posted - it will depend on several factors in terms of "what it's worth." But you should dig it up & post it. There is a pretty dramatic drop in value once condition of said error drops a grade or 2. "Coinsncanada" will be pretty inaccurate for determining FMV & Charlton will only give a ballpark BV (which is often off too). This is my last (favourite) a 1979 $20 BC-54ci 75% offset printing error E-3ii from my private collection:
