Originally, Liberty's face just didn't look right to me, but that could just be the lighting. I then compared it to a few PCGS 1885-CCs and noticed the date was larger on the coin you posted.

As I have little experience with these, I am not sure if that is an indicator or not.

Yes it is. As moxking pointed out, the stars aren't quite right either, and Dave mentioned the fields looking more like a silver bullion piece than a legit coin. All correct. There are enough tells on the obverse, but dang that reverse is far superior to what we are used to seeing. To think that they are minting them on genuine old U.S. mint presses that were given to China, who was to know?
