I knew nothing of the Type B reverse before last week, and thought that it was for 1959 only. Thank you for the education! edit: Are your coins proof or uncirculated? Mine are circulated and I found this online... "The Type B reverse is a variety of the Washington quarter (1956-1964) where the Philadelphia Mint inadvertently used a reverse die intended for proof coins to strike some circulation coins." I also learned that the 1956 is the most difficult to find.
