So 2 new 3 mark prussia declaration of war against Napoleon There is also a 2 mark version. Decent examples one with Nice patina the other very mirrory but blotchy not to happy with it. But both have good definition of The reverse, its often worn down with pool details on the horses etc. The obverse with snake and eagle in a altercation resembles the peso as dearborn pointed out. Large mintage so easy to find.

Also finaly got my first Trade dollar. Its big! 39mm and I know it wasnt a highgrade one, they to pricy. But dang the toning the obverse has a opal-like patina that changes colour with the light. It also has a golden shine I cant capture on photo. I'm very happy with this one And the design is stunning.must resist getting a shiny high grade.......

bryan & dearborn...choice specimens worthy of any collection ... Moniker...very interesting additions, congrats on that Trade dollar!...very nice toning! ...Here's 3 bullion pieces I bought earlier this week, with silver spot around $36 US. my LCS was running a one day special on one of his silver bins ... choice for $2 over spot, & I selected these 3 ... ...my photos are poor, but none have blemishes, scratches, spots, etc...all looked great under 5x magnification ...

Nice pickups @mrwiskers. @ Moniker - I have had a 5 Mark bill in my wallet for 30 years, since I got it in circulation, when my friends told me to put it away. I had no idea they made a 3 Mark piece- Very nice pickup and a toned one to boot! I finally filled a hole I've been looking for from time to time over the last few years for my toned collection. 1930-s AU 58 PCGS toned Standing Liberty Quarter- Fresh from Summer FUN
