Hondo, GLB49, NumisEd I figured with the price of metal these last few days, you guys would slow up a bit... Anyway, your new coins are beautiful !

Thank you all! Beautiful Brazilian, NumisEd! Quote: I figured with the price of metal these last few days, you guys would slow up a bit I got the Fiji and Britannia at spot. It's irksome that silver has gone up 25% in the last month and 66% in the last year, as I get less coin for the money. But I'm betting that it will keep going up.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Nice additions NumisEd and Hondo Boguss! @Hondo Boguss, I like that Dominican Republic peso. The reverse figure looks vaguely reminiscent to me of the portrait of liberty on the Morgan dollar...

Nice commem Numis very nice for its age Quote: I just mailed three Portuguese coins to NGC. Modern Proofs, not particularly expensive, so I'm not worried. But yes, it can take a while for your coins to arrive and get graded. Yes but 4 of these I would have to pay dearly to replace If they got lost.well fingers crossed

...I bought this from a guy selling out of the back of his truck at a rest stop on I-40 ... some of his stuff looked suspicious, but this one caught my eye, as it was certified as real, & slabbed ... my first ancient ... commemorating Alexander the Great's conquest of Egypt ...
