Quote: Nice Franklins, GLB49. I'm looking to acquire some more myself. Thank you. 1955 thru 1961 are on their way. I still have to order 1962 and 1963.

Quote: I had this show up today ahead of schedule. It is my first ultra-high relief coin. I am beginning to get addicted to gold plated silver Canadian coins now. That is an interesting coin. I might look into something like that.

Nice Franklin halves. A bit too much glare to see detail, but nice additions.

Quote: Nice gold plated silver maples! Thanks, Dearborn. The photo came out odd in that the silver surface nearly looks like it is porcelain, but it is a nice looking coin. Tomorrow the planets are aligning and I have four orders arriving - mixed coins and stamps, but nothing fancy. The nice photos of Franklins and Ikes here having thinking of looking into some more of those, though.

I have become partial the the Canadian polar bear toonies, so had to find an uncirculated 1996 from when they started the series. This is the bi-metal version from that year as part of the coin and note set, that also included the last 2 dollar bank note from 1986. I had to take the photo through the plastic in the card, so not that great, but looks better in reality. It's a nice addition to my modest toonie collection.

Definitely a nice Franklin. I just wish the images weren't so processed. I think a closeup of the Bugs Bunny variety is needed.
