If I ever buy an ANACS slab, it will be cracked for the coin to go into a Dansco. I have three key dates left, all TPGs are eligible.

I don't use folders, jbuck. but I do like certified coins because they are guaranteed to be professionally graded.

Just to clarify, I do not use folders either. The Danscos are albums. Albums allow you to see both sides of the coin and they are protected with a clear plastic sleeve. Folders only allow one side to be viewed and it is not protected.

very nice additions. I crack out coin as needed regardless of which TPG slabbed it if I need to fill an Album hole. (I don't use folder either - they are for very low value cull coins and quite possibly beginners)

@ jbuck That shows you how little I know about them. When I started collecting coins it didn't occur to me to use albums. Now, this far into my collection, it would take a lot of time and effort to go back and start using them.

Won in an internet (non-eBay) auction tonight.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

That's a very impressive array, Dearborn. Thank you for posting. In my case, my collection(s) have grown considerably in the last year or two and without discussing actual numbers it would be a major undertaking to covert to Dansco albums now.

Quote: Won in an internet (non-eBay) auction tonight. Very nice, Hondo. Until three days ago I had not participated in online auctions. But I'm looking for a few very hard to find coins to complete sets so I gave it a shot. I won the first auction as the only bidder and the next auction as the second bidder.
