Ok so I have put them in a mixture of lemon juice and distilled water the past 5 nights. I noticed results after maybe the 3rd night, but since then they've stayed the same. The first two nights I tried lemon juice squeezed from a lemon and the last few I tried lemon juice from the container; I'm not sure if there's a difference.

Look at the edges of your circulated coins. You will probably see narrow streaks of rust. That is a diagnostic of an original coin that has not been messed with (replated).

I don't see any narrow streaks of rust. I guess they were replated after all.

Now there's a thought! I can at least get my 3 cents worth out of them :)
