Why would you want to separate 2009 1oz double from it's original packaging ?
Surely, separation from the originl packaging must detract from the value.

Connoisseur toy collectors always appreciate the good condition packaging that is included with the subject.

The only separation that has to occur is that the coin is taken out of the Mint's capsule and put into a TPG graded slab. All of the other packaging associated with the coin can be retained (or purchased if you didn't get the coin directly from the Mint) by anyone who wants the OGP.

For many, the TPG grading enhances the coin's appeal, value and marketability. In addition to the grading, IMHO the slab also provides better protection to the coin than the original Mint capsule.
