Thanks, Errers! It looks better in the picture than in real life. Just a sad sad coin. Only a desperate country mints coins in zinc (even if they get plated with copper).

I have no nice coin to share here but wanted to say I was wrong to think of aluminum coins as weak to corrosion. It is as @tdziemia said in the now locked topic. The examples here also show that. The well kept nice coins can keep in good shape. But great coincidence I just found and added to my collection a 126 years old aluminum medal. Almost as new!
