Well I do not know why when I called ANACS they did not know about or inform me of NCS, they just said no we do not clean coins just grade them I told them the entire story.
I called NGC and they were very nice and right away told me about NCS and said to send it there and they would then give it to NGC.
So guess I will use NGC for all my coin grading now they are the only ones I use so far anyway sent about 20 mixed Indian gold coins to them awhile ago.
I see for all modern coins think it was after 1977 sent to NCS they only charge one flat fee for everything think it was about $ 25.00 not bad.

That is because NGC/NCS would be a competitor of ANACS I see now that they only charge $22.50 for conservation and then NGC grading with all moderns 1970 and later, not too bad of a deal
The American Numismatic Association has absolutely nothing to do with ANACS anymore. They divested themselves of the TPG in 1990 and it is on its third owner since then.
In 1989 ANACS discontinued issuing photo certificates and began encapsulating coins in plastic holders. A year later, the ANA board of governors sold ANACS to Amos Press, publishers of Coin World. In March 2005, Anderson Press purchased ANACS and in December 2007, ANACS was acquired by Driving Force, LLC, of Colorado.
