Some general observations. Not all people selling rare coins on off venues are crooks. Not all people selling coins on off venues are coin people, having
inherited; found at a yard sale, ect; coins of value. Meaning that they might not even know about grading services and if they do, might be leery of spending so much money ( and time) when they just want a quick profit.
I'm not an expert on this series. But if I came across such a "deal" and asked for authentication, I would want more than just a "yes" or "no", unless it an
IHC and Rick Snow was the one who said yay or nay. Only one person gave a reason why they thought it was fake and I'm not clear on their reasoning. And I've been at this since 1965.
Those photos were very bad. My first thought was dipped. One coin I thought might have been AU because of color breaks indicating it MIGHT be wear. Again those pics were so bad, It was just a guess. The other one might have been a high AU or MS coin. Impossible to tell from those pics.
