18.) Is this coin from a German state? You will be relieved to know the answer to that is No  Another hint, it is not from a country that borders any ocean or sea... Numista seems to lists silver coins as billon (and not precious) if they don't know exactly how much silver is in them but lists those 0.100 Mexican coins as silver (and precious). Seems numista is the one telling porkies and not mrwhatisit  I mean wartime Jefferson nickels are "billon" aren't they .... Edited by OzLeigh

That info about the silver content was a good hint.  Narrowing down the countries without us asking just feels like cheating.  |

Nice coin.
When you said low silver content, billon came straight to mind and there was only 2 billion coins listed with no weight.
One from Switzerland and your coin from Austria.

Ok, I have a coin ready.
It's a brand new coin, so I haven't added it to my gallery, so you can't find it there.
It is on Numista though. When I say brand new, it doesn't necessarily mean the coin is just released,
it's just new to me and never been circulated.
