Don't burn Q 20 yet.. I got a couple of idea's, but need a bit more leg work, and my daughter just came by for a visit. I'll be a bit. I'm sitting with 53 coins and countries not on Oz's list, so we need to talk.

Here's what's up here....

Afghanistan - out
China - 2
Egypt - 8, but...probably not.
Ethiopia - 1
India - 4
Iraq - 11
Jordan - 2
Lebanon - 1
Nepal - question mark......
Saudi Arabia - 7
Syria - 1
Thailand - 1
Tunisia - 2 maybe....
Yemen - 13!
I have Oman as well with 10.

Lots to sift through, can probably eliminate the proofs.

I'm leaning to...single year issue might work, or does Numista list a mintage for this coin.... Any other thoughts. No rush, we have guessers left this time too. No offence keith...

That Tunisian coin has the denomination written in Arabic words and is a common world coin to find.

The Thai coin has the Thai number 1 in the denomination.

Likewise those Iraqi coins have numerals and words.

Those Chinese coins are not very common.

I think it's most likely to be

Jordan (denomination spelled out in English)
Tunisia
Ethiopia

Kudos to Josh if he's got any of those other coins...

Ok. Now we need a Q to narrow those coins down.

If we go with those 3 counties, we have as many guessers as coins.....

Ok, let's go with this:

Is the non-Gregorian date on this coin 1368, 1380 or 1936?

Oz, you just beat me. I was going to ask the same question, but with Gregorian dates.

That didn't work so well, and now we guess.

My guess is an Egyptian 2 Qirsh dated 1363 (1944).

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces8677.html

It's got mintage, a cool shape, silver, war coin, and a story. I don't want to win, but I hope he has this.
