Quote: Any of you guys seen that ludicrous Netflix movie "Coin Heist" about school students sneaking into the US mint to knock up some error coins? Thanks Oz, just wasted 1h 40m of my life. That was bad. Is this coin larger than 27mm?

Quote: Is this a standard circulation coin.... This is where the "in use now" Q has me thinking. To be in use now, wouldn't it have to be, at least, a circulation or circulation commem coin.....I sorta think so.

Quote: I sorta think so. I did a quick search.... https://en.numista.com/catalogue/in...=&mt=&g=&se=....NCLT are included. Bummer. Quote: Is the denomination of this coin in the range 0.01-2 units of currency? Curious, why did you left it open at each end.....I hope it's not to run 2 separate searches....that would be nasty..... teammate

Quote: Curious why you left it open at each end Have you looked at the coins less than 0.01 units of currency that are "in use now"...It's a very shallow pool... For a coin to be less than 0.01 unit of currency these days it either belongs to a very strong currency (Oman, Kuwait etc) or it is a pre-decimal coin. 0.01-2 units of currency accounts for all circulating coins from Canada (and a lot of other places) Just in case you are this "friend" who gave triggersmob the coin... Quote: This is where the "in use now" Q has me thinking Don't think too hard...just enter "now" in the in use in field (Just means coin hasn't been demonetised. NCLT are legal tender unless they have been demonetised...Haven't we been over this before...) Of course some lazy referees haven't marked some demonetised coins as such (that is why I always ask "According to Numista") Quote: I'll wait for the list You can always change the currency you use in Numista to AUD for this round if you are too lazy to look up a foreign currency exchange rate table.

Well there you go. Thanks Oz, again you taught me some more. I haven't filled in the face value field yet, waiting to see what you had to say. Always worth the wait. trig won't play another one from Canada for a while, not after the last 1. That AUD hint....never occurred to me. It just shows up as Canadian here, do you guys get it for your country.....
