Ok, but I'm still good with Gregorian date range of 1968-2020.

You'll get less results when you bung 1968-2020 in the "year" field because some coins dated in a non-Gregorian calendar will be eliminated (as well as any coins without a date)
e.g. those Afghanistan coins

you have used it incorrectly in the past.
"Gregorian Date" is the Gregorian year that the coin was Issued
"Year" is the year on the coin in whatever calendar it is dated in
So if you put 2077 in "year" field you will get 2 Nepal coins issued in 2020 (that's what the brackets mean) but dated 2077 in their calendar
