Tools like this make me drool. No rack and pinion to get fouled with dial calipers, no need for batteries for digital ones. Just old school, accurate forever, never let you down. I just could not let them get thrown out.
Never store your calipers with the jaws touching, always have a gap. That's old school too.

I saved a outside micrometer from getting tossed out. Also a little six inch slide rule. Never have worked out how to use slide rule though, other than very basic multiplication. |
