Why don't these provinces show on a main search of Canada

They do show if you pick the top-most Canada option. You must be selecting the indented "Canada" sub-branch option.

And I'm sure the good people of Nova Scotia were supporting their national women's soccer team, the "Canucks"

Why would we be looking at Canada when the first 2 questions ruled it out.

Lovely coin, by the way

I got it backwards and thought the sub would show them. Thank you.

1 name. Christine Sinclair. G.O.A.T. She wrapped up her career against you Aussies. There will be a coin for her in the future.

Nova Scotia was never a country, that voided that Q.

The question was "is" not "was"

Nova Scotia IS part of Canada

That previous round was another example of how playing "guess the country" can go horribly wrong if the "issuer" is not a present day country.

Oz, I was hoping a lurker may pipe up, but to no avail. Did you read Numista....It says the were used as measurements of weight and length. I'm naďve, and speaking way out of term, but would this be all they were used for......not money......

These Cents are monsters. A breed that I'm scared to dip my toe in. I'd have you all dancing if I was into them.

I can, or better, you can, ask the Canadian forum. You will find your answer with them I bet.

From now on the first question of a loonie hosted round will be:

"Does this coin have anything to do with Canada"

after all 92.5% of the time it does (This one was the best of them all)

loonie with a coin from Central Asia, what a waste of a question
