Quote: A coin is a small, flat, (usually, depending on the country or value) round piece of metal or plastic used primarily as a medium of exchange or legal tender. They are standardized in weight, and produced in large quantities at a mint in order to facilitate trade. They are most often issued by a government. Coins often have images, numerals, or text on them.
Quote: The Perth Mint is well-known for producing commemoratives and collectables issued as legal tender of Tuvalu.
. Legal Tender stands out to me in both those quotes
So a German Notgeld is not legal tender. So you never Beat us
Notgeld was legal tender, some of it anyway, but not a tram token issued as a collectors set and I would argue, if something doesn't circulate, it cannot be legal tender
Perhaps, but if something is never offered as payment for debts it is effectually not used as money, which in my mind, is an important aspect of a coin.
