Is it larger than a U.S. 90% quarter (6.25 grams)?

It is not heavier than a silver quarter dollar.

Though I don't know of any half franc coins from Belgium, so I'm not really sure that helps you.

Is the coin made from precious metals?

We already knew it was silver. We try not to duplicate questions around here. No matter this time, Gin is going down. .

I will guess this coin is an 1880 1 Franc - Leopold II (Independence) from Belgium.

I'll guess 1887 Belgium One Franc with motto in Dutch. Engraved by Wiener.

Hey, mine's a Wiener too. Who wants to join the Wiener Club? You realize the correct guess makes you the Wiener Winner. Poor Gin though, we'll never let him forget he got taken out by his Wiener. .

fplagge. I see you went to "The jocoin School of Guessing". Now I got 2 guys guessing the same as me.

You're both welcome to share my loonie luck, but past results might make you change your mind.

Go pick another coin, there aren't many to chose from, so make your guess count. Gamemaster must go down. Huh huh huh.

Unfortunately for you, your loonie luck has run out. This coin is an 1830-1880 independence Belgium Franc.
