"Not from an island nation" and Bermuda is a protectorate. Other British protectorates have their coinage made in the UK, but west of the Prime Meridian at The Royal Mint. If the Commonwealth Mint makes any protectorate coinage nowadays, it is west of PM, too.
If Protectorates are technically in play, could Anguilla, BVI, the Caymans and Montserrat be possible if they have distinct coinage issued in the UK? I think as BOTs/UKOTs they are in North Atlantic District (like Bermuda) and not considered North America by #10 Downing St. Not sure if any of that applies here, but another rabbit hole to explore...
Jersey, Guernsey, and Alderney would be in play, too, as administered by the UK, don't have a mint I know about, are west of PM line, and have distinct coinage issued since 1966.

Finally. Good stuff. Can't help you with Fluffy, to much white on her. Now, Black Sheep is a different story.
So do we go for denomination or age or.....
I think we are down to these choices...
1 and 5 cent from 1989-2018, aluminum. Copper-nickel 10 cent from 1989-2000, 25 cent from 1989-2017 and 50 cent from 1989-2018. $1.00 nickel-brass from 1989-2018.
There are more NCLT, but my "heart" says this is a circulated coin. My "gut" tells me it is the 1 cent due to its irregular shape. You may want to listen this time.
Was this coin around when Spirit and Opportunity landed on Mars?

I figure we have nothing to lose and may get lucky if we stay with 1 denomination, and the 1 cent stuck out. I'm telling you, it's the 1 cent. Besides, we needed to cut the whole # of coins down. The last question works both ways.
